Neith is conceptual and design. Although described as « barren », she is the sea/mother from which Rà will emerge to create all things. But the most important thing is that Neith speaks the seven words that establish the perceptible universe. This affirms that oral expression is the foundation of culture and society, divine in this case.
Neith being the mother of the universe and words, one could not be surprised at their versatility. A great adviser to women and guarantor of Egypt’s security, Neith is presented as the midwife, the womb from which Rà comes.
