
The beginning of the alphabet is the A, as determined by the Phoenicians to honour their god Aluf, it happens to be the symbol of the beginning of the day when we go far, far back in time.
Rà-Khepri, the rising sun, represented as a man with the head of a beetle, is the first deity to have ever concerned himself with the Planet, illuminating and warming it, which created a new day.
The scarab is one of the most important mystical signs of Upper Egypt, its value indicates the urgency to go about the day’s business religiously.
Looking for the equivalent in the list of Egyptian signs, we find another head signifying that morning is breaking: a hieroglyph evoking a bovid i.e. Apis. The bull is the sacred animal associated with the god Ptah, in unified Egyptian mysticism.
